The Second International Festival of Military History "Without Stalingrad we can not win!" dedicated to the anniversary of the beginning of the Battle of Stalingrad, will be held on July 19-20 in Volgograd region with the support of Russian military-historical society.

The festival is organized by the military-historical club "Infantry man", Volgograd branch, and the administration of Ilovlyn area in Volgograd region with the support of the museum-reserve "Stalingrad battle".

This is the second festival dedicated to the anniversary of the beginning of the Battle of Stalingrad (July 17, 1942). The first attempt (in 2013) was successful attracting participants from five clubs of military-historical reconstruction of Volgograd, Voronezh and Rostov.

The festival will involve a large amount of military equipment of World War II period – tanks, artillery guns, vehicles and motorcycles. It is planned that in the battle reconstruction two tanks T-34/85, a tank T-60, a German armoured personnel carrier Demag, several Soviet and German guns will take part. For tha sake of credibility of what is going to happen, in the steppe near the village of Shirokov a rural settlement dating back to the 40s, log bunkers, fire positions, radio hubs, field hospitals will be recreated.

Military and historical reconstructions will take place on July 19 and 20.
